What is alarm system?
Many hearing-impaired individuals, particularly those with more severe hearing losses, could not hear many important sounds in our daily life, including telephone ring, doorbell, smoke detector, baby cry, alarm clock, etc. Alarm systems are capable of converting sounds in our daily life into sensory signals, such as audible sounds, strong vibrations, flash lights, etc. Alarm systems allow hearing-impaired individuals recognize the presence of important sounds, therefore enhance their ability of independent living. These systems can be installed at home, in offices, in schools, or in other environments.

Flash
Flash is a light alerting device which receives alarm signals from the doorbell, telephone, smoke detector, etc., via the DETECT alerting transmitter or the OBSERVER baby alarm and pager. When Flash receives a signal, it converts it into an easily seen bright halogen light pattern. Flash has seven different blink patterns, one for each sound source. That way the user can easily identify which alarm has been activated. An unlimited number of Flash devices can be used at the same time. Flash can be mounted on the wall or placed on a table stand so it is portable.

Call
Call is a sound alerting device which receives alarm signals from the doorbell, telephone, smoke detector, etc., via the DETECT alerting transmitter or the OBSERVER baby alarm and pager. When Call receives a signal, its loudspeaker converts it into an audible sound signal. The sound signals can be adjusted to 16 different tones (frequencies), and are easily adjusted to the userˇ¦s optimal frequency so others are disturbed as little as possible. Call has seven different signal patterns, one for each sound source. That way the user can easily identify which alarm has been activated. An unlimited number of Call receivers can be used at the same time. Call can be mounted on the wall or placed on a table stand so it is portable.

MultiWake
MultiWake is an alerting device which receives alarm signals from the doorbell, telephone, smoke detector, baby cry, etc., via the built-in microphone or the external microphone. When a signal is received, MultiWake converts it into strong vibration or bright light. The alerting pattern differs depending on what signal it is receiving, making it easy for the user to distinguish the alarm. The frequencies and sensitivity of the built-in microphone and the external microphone can be adjusted according to various needs (frequency range: 600-3000 Hz).

Shake Wake
Shake Awake is an alarm clock with a built-in powerful vibrator, designed for hearing-impaired individuals who need an effective alarm. The alarm is easy to set and the display has large, distinct numbers and a light for nighttime viewing. Shake Awake can be placed under the pillow and fastened to the pillowcase by a small clip. As a handy and flexible alarm solution, Shake Awake is suitable for use when traveling or for those who donˇ¦t want to wake anyone else when their alarm goes off.
