Batteries come in different sizes and types. The most common type of batteries used by hearing aid users is zinc air batteries. Zinc air batteries have high energy density, they are affordable, and used batteries have little impact on the environment. Battery drain for individual hearing aid depends on the output level. Therefore, battery drain cannot always be specified exactly. To use the battery, you have to remove the sealing label covering the contact surface.
